Greenway utilizes an instant mass communication system called "Instant Alert". Instant Alert brings the news directly to parents and enables them to decide how and where they receive alerts. The system is very flexible and allows users to choose how they are contacted, using multiple communication tools including telephone, e-mail, cell phones, texts, etc. The school district will use this service to notify parents about school closings, but will also use it to notify people of important events or other announcements.
